Milosevic’s Regime Is Not Defeated

Ten years ago, for the Orthodox Easter 1999, someone killed Slavko Curuvija.
Two days ago, on October 6, someone stole his commemorative plaque. It was placed in front of building where he lived and where he was killed.

His murderer (or murderers) hasn’t been found yet. If  it’s so, I am asking myself when will the robber (or robbers) of the plaque be found?
Although it’s still unknown officially who killed Slavko Curuvija, a journalist and owner of newspaper “Daily Telegraphe” and weekly magazine “the European”, and one of the strongest critics of totalitarian Milosevic’s regime, I am sure that some of members of Milosevic’s intelligence service carried out this crime. Of course, the absolutist had given their blessings. Now he is dead, but his services and ideals have not died. They are still very powerful.
I am also sure that they controlled this last action, stealing Curuvija’s commemorative plaque. In this way, they are showing that they were not defeated on the 5th October 2000, when Milosevic was dethroned.
Last year, only 8 years after “democratic revolution”, Boris Tadic, president of Republic of Serbia and president of the Democratic party, and Ivica Dacic, current Minister of interior affairs and president of Milosevic’s Socialist party, signed the Declaration about reconciliation between two parties.
Tadic and Dacic: ''Rest in peace, Milosevic!''

Is it accidentally that the violence in Serbia has been rising ever since? I think not.
If it’s so, I ask myself: will Slavko’s killers and robbers of his commemorative plaque ever be found?
I doubt it!
